If you want an Easter craft that looks impressive but is surprisingly easy to make, this Easter bunny wreath craft is ideal.

Using a simple printable template and basic craft supplies, children can create their own DIY Easter wreath — perfect for hanging on a door or in a window.

What You’ll Need

  • Coloured felt or cardboard

  • Sturdy cardboard (an old box works perfectly)

  • Dinner plate

  • Smaller plate or dish

  • Paint (optional)

  • Glue (fabric glue if using felt, we used the Uhu one which held up super well)

  • Hole punch

  • Ribbon

  • Scissors

How to Make an Easter Bunny Wreath

Step 1: Prepare the Decorations

  • Print and cut out the different templates.

  • Cut multiple flowers and leaves from felt or cardboard.

  • Glue flower pieces together in your chosen colour combinations.

  • Create carrots, a bee and bunny if desired.

Step 2: Create the Wreath Base

  • Draw around a dinner plate onto sturdy cardboard.

  • Draw a smaller inner circle using a smaller plate.

  • Cut out the ring shape.

  • Paint the wreath base if desired and allow to dry completely.

  • Punch a hole at the top for hanging.

Step 3: Assemble

  • Arrange flowers, leaves and bunny before gluing.

  • Once happy with placement, glue everything down.

  • Thread ribbon through the top hole and hang.

Tip: Let children arrange their own designs before gluing — it gives them creative ownership and avoids last-minute rearranging once glue is involved!
